Skaka - Shaken Percussion 1.1.0

Skaka is a sample-based sequencer plug-in designed for shaken percussion instruments. It stands out due to its unique audio engine and sequencer that manage samples with a precise musical start, allowing users to establish the desired timing for each shake naturally, resulting in exceptionally realistic rhythms.

The meticulously crafted sequencer and sample player engine are tailored to deliver the necessary parameters and features for authentic percussive sounds. Each event in the 12 autonomous sequencers can influence various parameters like pitch, velocity (indicating how rapidly the instrument is shaken), and envelope. Moreover, it can synchronize with the tempo and playhead position of a host application.

By offering complete control over shuffle/swing intensity, an intricate humanizer settings panel, an understanding of in and out shakes, division grids into triplets/quintuplets/septuplets, time fine-tuning, variable sequence lengths, Skaka achieves remarkable proximity to the sound of a human percussionist across different tempos, without resorting to degrading techniques like time stretching.

In addition to the 12 sequencers and their internal parameters, Skaka features a reverb, room simulator, and high shelf filter. It comes equipped with nearly 200 preset patterns spanning various genres and styles.

Usage:

• The main interface displays 12 slots, each containing a sequencer and its parameters activated and deactivated by MIDI Note On and Note Off commands (one assigned to each MIDI note from C to B).
• To access and modify a sequencer's events and parameters, simply click on the sequencer overview at the center of each slot.
